#1, What are they?
#2, What are they going to do for your business,
#3, And, at the end of this video, why you and your business are going to want to seriously consider getting this system.
You may be wondering why change the way shingles are being applied to a roof or building. The usual way has worked for many years and the system works very well so why make changes now?
As of the time of this presentation, accordion to Google, there are, 46,621 Lumber & Building material Stores in the US alone with an increase of stores up 4% over 2022
As of this presentation, Google says, there are more than 100,000 roofing contractors in the United States. In 2021, the market size of the roofing industry was more than fifty billion dollars. The roofing market has recorded over five billion dollars in total earnings.
It should be noted again, that this is just in the United States. These huge figures don’t even cover the rest of the world. A company that has a worldwide distributorship for a new and innovative roofing system could take advantage of the huge demand this product and system would generate.
First, let me just go over the usual way shingles are and have been applied for many years.

The Usual Way
Usually, the roofing process goes something like this:
Bundle Handling
It takes one person to cut open the bundle of shingles and hand one shingle to an installer each time because only one can be installed at a time.
Shingle Placement
The installer must place each shingle in its approximate position, make micro-adjustments, and hold it until they can affix it with tools.
Micro-Alignment
One of the hardest and most time-consuming tasks is the placing and micro-aligning of each shingle on the roof.
Solo Installation
If working alone, the installer must repeatedly stop, get another shingle, position it, hold it, and hammer in nail fasteners, moving constantly across the roof.
Using Air Nailers
Using air nailers speeds up the process, but the micro-aligning and reaching for the nail gun still add up to a lot of wasted time over days, weeks, and months.
Why Is It so Complicated?
What makes roofing so difficult is:
Positioning Challenges
The installer can't pick up a shingle with one hand and hold the tools with the other. Positioning a shingle precisely while holding tools is impossible.
Tool Management
The installer has to carry tools constantly as they move across and up the roof. This makes the roofing process cumbersome and slows down progress.
Roof Angle
The steep angle of the roof adds to the difficulty and complexity of roofing tasks. It makes positioning and aligning shingles accurately much harder.
Material Access
The roofer must frequently move to where the shingles are stored on the roof. This constant movement is time-consuming and disrupts the workflow.
Continuous Movement
After applying a few shingles, the installer has to move to another spot. This repetitive movement wastes time and effort, making the job more exhausting.
Our Method
A manufacturing and installing process that helps to eliminate some of these tiny, repetitive jobs:
Connected Shingles
It’s easier to affix each and every shingle to the roof without the installer having to make all the tiny micro adjustment and holding movements that consume so much time. These movements could be eliminated by having the shingles aligned and connected together “at the time of manufacture”.
But, How?
How could this be done? The shingles would be made in such a way so as to automatically set the distance between each shingle as well as the bottom aligning and leveling as well as aligning it to the chalk line so that it is a straight line all the way across the roof or anywhere on the structure.
The Perfect Membrane
This can easily be accomplished by having the manufacturer use a membrane that would be rigid and strong yet flexible enough to connect each shingle together, so a group or line of shingles, of any needed length, could be connected together at the time of manufacture and subsequently, laid down on the roof all at once.
The Perfect Distance
With this arrangement, the distance between each shingle would not change, and even though it would be somewhat flexible, and when done properly, this would set each shingle in a straight line. The connecting membrane could be, either, on the top, or the bottom, or any combination of these, or be integrated within the shingle(s) themselves, or be totally of the same materials.
The Use of Flexible Materials
Or, the shingles would be constructed of a flexible material(s), such as, but not limited to, rubber, or a rubber like material. Where the shingles would be in a continuous line and the shingles, could, (or could not), be the same length as standard shingles. Whereas the shingles themselves would be connected together with a smaller part that would act as a connection between each shingle.
Connected Shingle Arrangement
This is a necessary component that creates a stronger, more weather tight and durable roof by preventing the elements, such as wind from picking the shingles up and tearing them off the roof.
When the shingles are in a stack, the adhesive materials must not touch the other, otherwise they would bond together in the stack.
To prevent this from happening, the shingle manufacturer must offset the adhesive material to prevent the two shingles from bonding but the adhesive material still be close enough to the lower part of the shingle.
